Does anyone have photos of the topside & bottom of #38 while it was black.

Does anyone have photos of the topside & bottom of #38 while it was black.

It was all black. Only markings on the whole plane were the red & white race number on the tail, and small white registration numbers on the lower fin of the vertical stabilizer. The nose and main landing gear doors were polished metal.

I have a couple I took of it flying over at night. A little hard to see though.

You laugh, but I can remember in 1984 being down at the Aviation Classics hangar on Tuesday night, watching them repair Furias and LARS...and whomever owned #38 at the time running the engines and testing it at about 11:00 at night.
