Hmmmm...lets see. How on earth could Lyle lose two years in a row at Mojave THE SAME FREAKIN' WAY? I think after Mac passed him at the finish line in '74, I would have mounted one of those big rear-view mirrors off of an 18-wheeler (with the parabolic mirror at the bottom) off the left side of the cockpit.

Or at least got a radio that worked so the crew chief could TELL him?

I mean, I can respect Mac passing him. But Doc Cummins????

Why were the wing fillets removed? They were obviously put on there for a reason.

We where in Inyokern when we took them off.

We removed 6 gallons of old oil from each side when we took them off.

We also redid (resealed) the gun and ammo bays.

There is the clue to why it was done.
Its up to you john
