Very nice polish job on the tail section… Wonder if that’s a hint of the overall look when finished. It should look pretty sharp.

Any educated guesses as to what the final tab will be for the restoration?

It's not an educated guess, but I'd like to play. I think it will be around $1,600,000.00 not counting what Red Bull paid Lefty for the plane itself.

At the time of the crash-landing the REPAIR estimate was over $1 mill. I can only guess what the full RESTORATION might be, and plus the purchase price.
