It was a good ploy by RARA to finally get that Speed achieved on their Course. As long as they don't change the Course and the way they currently time the Laps - Dago's Speed will be the one to surpass. I've also wondered how fast that Race would have been on the old -longer-Course that was changed after 2000.

The real story is that RARA was *pissed* and made it abundantly clear to the Dago people... Dago was certainly not supposed to break 500 first.
