I absolutely can't wait to see the reaction from Speedy when... and I mean WHEN (as in.. I don't know chit) Rod finally allows the (yet to be taken) photos of Rare Bear 2007 to be published and we get to hear the tirade from one Seattle based, somewhat infamous Air Race Historian!

Sorry Speedie... you're one opinoinated SOB ya know!!

Dang, now you got me thinking, Wayne.....NO, not about dropping the soap, either.

Unless there has been a dramatic change in the very recent past, I am pretty confident on the paint scheme of a certain Bearcat...but alas, I (as have you) have been asked not to speak of such things.

But I think the only thing that would TRULY freak me out would be to have it painted up as.........D'OH, can't talk about it.......

          Re: T-6 Racers

Any of you Seattle dudes have a picture of Hugh Glassburn's T-6 racer (68,69?)?

I know I am a SoCal sissy, but I used to fly a Beech for Methow.

I heard all of the stories about the Paine Field terror's. Hugh seemed to fit in nicely with that group, but I never have seen a pic of the airplane.
          Chris...

                  Shawn,

Bob Suacci has not owned Miss Janice Lee for quite some time.

At one time, #69 was one of four T-6's based at Bob's Flying Service crop duster strip in Knights Landing, CA.
