    Wow. That looks great!

    The Boomer II paint scheme, with the red numerals was from 1979 when Bill Harrison raced it. Valerie Weiner asked Max Hoffman to run it for the 10th anniversary of E.D's final race and death in 1969. But since Max was racing his own "Boomer" #66, he had Bill race it for him. As I recall, he was running pretty good in the Gold Final, but had to pull out with engine problems.

      Hi Guys
      I know this link is for a scale plastic kit, but it is very accurate

      go to galleries, click on propeller, scroll down to P51,click page 1, scroll down youll see hi time 11 part 3 has some good colour phots of the model.

          I didn't see any pics of Bardahl Miss in the link you posted.

          It is Bardahl Miss. It was mentioned earlier in this thread that Miss Bardahl was the racing boat.

          To me it looks like the black border around the green "49" is very thin. I have searched to the end of the internet and back. I now have about 30-35 pictures, but none are close ups.

            I think the number 49 was green in 1968, and red in 1969.
            Victor Archer has a shot of N335J with a red number sitting next to
            N335 in the STP scheme, I think that would be 1969ish?
