LOL, you had to be careful where you stood due to reflecting sun! The dihedral of the horizontal stab would work for George Hamilton's tan!

Peashooter, No the Cirrus in the ditch happened before Thursday. I think it was Wednesday actually, but might have been tuesday.

Dasher, nice lighting and placement of aircraft in photo. I will try to get mine uploaded as soon as possible. I like you go all out with the $100 digital point and shoot, then hope for the best.

Thats the big joke in the fire service, the police always seem to get there first and we ask them if they are going to just shoot the fire out or what?

"Columbia tent" - wish I would have known and I would have asked you to tell Tom Bowen (VP-Engineering for Columbia) hello. He worked in my department several years ago before he went to Mooney.

Yes, I was there Monday through Monday. I covered the show for an on-line aviation magazine - mostly the press conferences and the airshow side of things. I learned more about VLJs and LSAs than anyone needs to know.



The Cirrus ended up in a ditch. ($600,000 - BRAND NEW S22-G3)
The pilot and three pax all "agreed on the story" that the right brake gave way.
No one at the show was convinced - even the CD booth winked when they said it.



This shows my amazing talent with my $100 Canon Digital Camera. Please note the use of sunlight and placement.

I have learned from my experience and the next time the police officer is pushing me away from the yellow tape, I will stop and level my horizon before clicking.

Or... I'll photoshop it before posting.

What a valuable lesson I've learned today. All before 7am.

The next time a police office pushes you away, flash your press credentials, and shout something like "Attica"...
