Unlimiteds at Stead

They were up this morning! Both Precious Metals, Race #57 (Super Corsair) and camera plane (Bossman? I was too far away) were tooling around the pylons about 0900. I, of course was three miles away and heading into town to go to work.

Looked like they were filming a make-up scene for TOR - multiple laps with PM's passing the camera down the frontstretch, and the Corsair pulling up and away trailing "smoke".

If they're up again tomorrow, I'm going in late to the office!

I borrowed that snapshot from, "Dastardly and Muttley in their Flying Machines", a spin-off cartoon of the Wacky Races. The "Races" were for the most part cars only.
