I thought Hollister.

I was there on Saturday with them.

The top pic does not look like Hollister but the 2nd pic does.I guess it doesn't matter.

Could've been, I wasn't there but was told by a couple of people Salinas. Had the pleasure of watching it go together for the last year or so.

I'm pretty sure the test flights were done out of Hollister and both pictures look like it to me. They would have had to dismantle it from Hollister (where they had reassembled it) to get to Salinas. Hollister is probably a better test location too. See their website: www.turbinetoucan.com

That's why I said Hollister.

I saw it yesterday in Hollister doing highspeed taxi tests on rwy 31.Seems like the control surfaces are a little small.It looks fast.......

Then the bombers showed up but,thats another story.

No worries about the airframe, it's based on the Pitts Model12/Pitts Python.
