This is way cool....the F-22 just did it's display flight and the Heritage flight is going at this moment of writing....F-15, A-10, F-22, P-51

That was a weird show even for a flat one...
At the Mugu Show there was a delay beacuse of problems with one of the planes..

I got this off of their website...maybe this is the reason for one less performer?

What happens if a Thunderbirds pilot is sick or hurt?
The Thunderbirds do not employ “spare” or back-up pilots. If a pilot is ill or injured, the remaining pilots will perform without him or her. If the commander falls ill or is injured, the team does not perform on that day. Because of this, physical fitness and well-being are extremely important to the Thunderbirds.
Why are there no spare pilots?
Each flying position is difficult to master. Each pilot has an inherent trust for the pilots they are flying with. Because of this bond and because of the high degree of professional skill required to operate the F-16, there are no spare pilots.
