Great pic, Vic.....but how'd they get those great big letters in the sky? And how'd he fly that Spad so close to them without hitting them? Awesome timing on your shutter finger, though....you caught the plane JUST in the right position in relation to those floating letters!

It's trick photography SD; the letters are actually much larger than they appear and are in the far background, Vic just used a rilly small aperature setting to keep it all in focus and make it look like the plane is flying close to the text. As for how to make the letters float in the sky, well, that's part of the alien secret stuff that sets Vic apart from us wannabees.

About the only thing I've had a chance to shoot air to air with for the last 2 years is the KC-135... and not from any kind of cool angles either. I've got sooo many photos of us coming up to the boom of that thing it's not even funny.
