When I was at Benson high here in PDX ( along time ago) we had a v-12 allison (sp) on a portable test stand annd my senior year we finally got the shop teacher to fire it up . Big time loud, we won't talk about the engine fire that follwed

Says it is a Merlin XX but looks and sounds like a Griffon to me.
