Re: my Famouse tree picture
Wonderful Shawn!
I just love the juxtaposition of nature and machine. The pastoral scene shattered by the intrusion of man and the motion he imparts on the natural setting. One can almost hear the birds, the innocent bunny living his peaceful life until disturbed by modern machinery. Pure art, man.
Or...
A friggin' tree got in your way while you were panning.

I think you caught Voodoo just as it was going into full steath mode. When it came out the other side this is all I got. I call this shot, "My world famous sky picture".
That is about the same color as print film when exposed to light. Just call it a test print and you will be safe.

Was your sensor really that clean? Most of us should be that lucky.

Re: my Famouse tree picture
I have no tree pictures, but have taken hundreds of "truck pictures" over the years...

You probably are. Mixed in with the trucks, jeeps, cops, etc., etc.
It's part of the fun, dodging service vehicles!

Re: my Famouse tree picture
The first year I video taped was 1985. I was hanging around then with a group I met there every year, all photo nuts. It's great to listen to the background on the tape. We're all panning, following a taxiing plane when either he goes behind a vehicle or one cruises by. The collective groan and "ah sh**" is priceless. Over and over again...

I remember one of a T6 race with a port-o-let in the foreground.
I hope we do that again this year - it's nice to see the cuts.
I got it all wrong years ago....was the tree suppose to be on the other side of the plane???Went Fast, Forgot to Turn Left, Saw God!
