NEW HYRDOPLANE TEAM TO TEST REMODELED BOAT ON LAKE WASHINGTON THURSDAY
In preparation for the upcoming American Boat Racing Association (ABRA) racing series the U-48 Miss Lakeridge Paving, piloted by David Williams, will be testing out of Stan Sayres Pits on Lake Washington, Thursday, June 28 from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
Go Fast, Turn Left Racing is a new team based out of Maple Valley and is the fifth new Unlimited team to compete since the start of 2006 season. Go Fast, Turn Left Racing has made a long term commitment to the sport of Unlimited Hydroplane Racing and is proud to unveil their remodeled boat, the U-48 Miss Lakeridge Paving.
The 2007 ABRA racing season will kick-off in Evansville, IN June 29-July 1 and conclude the weekend of September 14-16 in San Diego, CA. The schedule also includes stops in Madison, IN (July 6-8); Detroit (July 13-15); Tri-Cities, WA (July 27-29); and Seattle (August 3-5).
The Chevrolet Cup at Seafair is the fifth stop on the ABRA circuit and is set for August 3-5 at Stan Sayres Pits on Lake Washington. In addition to a full slate of racing, including the Unlimited Light Hydroplanes, the event will also feature the KeyBank Air Show presented by Boeing, the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and a Saturday evening fireworks display and live concert.
