Art built that 51 himself with almost no help. John Herlihy provided some assistance from time to time. Thats got to be a pre 82 shot.

I"m trying to remember...its been a while...but wasn't this about the same time that Art was flying a Yugoslavian trainer? Really ugly looking thing, like a taildragger T-28?

No to the Soko. He bought that from Freddy Paterson at the Nut Tree circa 88 or 89. Very ugly machine IMHO. Passed it along to someone else a year or two later after he and Dan rebuilt it. If you get to RAR stop by and I will tell you a few very funny stories about that machine. Perhabs Dan Vance will join in. Be rolling around the ramp.
