Don't envy you the move, but do envy the end result! Beautiful home! Bet you can't wait to dig your toes into the new carpet and spread out and RELAX!!!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS on the pin pulling my friend!!!!!!

When John owned it he used the plane as the test bed for the single stage merlins for Tsunami. It carried the name "Tipsy Too",was silver with blue trim, and was race #28. After selling the plane to Gary in 1985, John brought another p-51 to Reno called "Platinum Plus". That plane was highly polished with red and black trim. What an absolutely gorgeous airplane!!! It was "custom built" for John by Fighter Rebuilders in Chino Ca., and also carried race #28.(Johns alcohol injected aircobra in the 70's was named "Tipsy Miss", carried the race #28, and was also painted orange like the last version of Tsunami.) What colorful people both John and Gary were! They are deeply missed....

Here's a shot from 1991. What interesting about this shot is that if you notice in the background, the white, silver, and red Lancair is Dave Morss' racer that he had the catastrophic prop failure in! This shot was taken right before that incident occured to Dave. If you've never seen the in-cockpit video of that flight, you've gotta check it out! Go to www.davemorss.com or just copy and paste this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0txEC0Rhdg

I'd sure like to see either an aircobra or a kingcobra fly the pylons today!

Cool shot Shawn. I mistakenly called "Tipsy Miss" an aircobra, when in fact it looks like a kingcobra! My bad.....
