Just got off the phone with an obviously happy John Penney...

"Dave Cornell and company have done a marvelous job taking the airplane down and bringing it back from the ground up! We're checking systems and plan on turning the airplane over to the painters and then continuing flight testing until RENO."

I am glad that we are probably going to see a sh** hot gold race. I was getting a little anxious. See everybody at Stead starting 9/09/07. It is going to be good!!!

Great news. Bear has always been my favorite and I will miss her this year. My wife has gone thru cancer before and once again the possibility or cancer has shown up and the tests will be during the races.
I will have to depend on those of you who post daily for the results and happenings. I'm depending on you.
Only the second race missed in the past 20 years.
