How about a new Thunder Mustang for the Team for a Chrissy present.

Very sad. Cant think of a more depressing situation.

Parker has has Mega Highs, and Mega Lows with that airplane.

          Such is life, I guess........

            Re: Blue Thunder

This accident is shocking and so very disappointing to this Sports Class fan.

However, I'm very glad that John was not injured.

I believe John Parker to be an intense competitor. It's hard for me to imagine him "backing down" or being happy while standing down.

If Blue Thunder is beyond repair (just one scenario), I expect to see a Blue Thunder II.

So I must ask; is there a donation fund in the works for BT II? I'm in...

              Hello everyone,

I wanted to let you know that John has issued a statement. It is available on the Blue Thunder site.

Wow. Truth is stranger than fiction. What an odd demise of such a wonderful aircraft. Wow. Sorry Dudes. Just glad John is OK. I can't wait to see the new one. Hopefully there will be some shirts available for purchace to help with the new effort?
You'll get your chance, smart guy!

I think the figure John mentioned that he figures they are out.. is about a cool mil...

There was no hull insurance (sorry if that was mentioned before)

I think we'll all have to see what we can do to try to help out after the races this year. John is simply too important to the sport to not ensure that he stays in the sport!

I help Bill Pearce with their site.. maybe we can set something up..

For sure, a show of support in person will help heal John's aching heart. There is no way that man could be sadder if he'd have lost a flesh and blood family member..

I know the gear heads here know about the bond with machine that can develop.. That airplane was more than John's racer.. it was his friend.. it was his wings.. a part of his body..

It was, indeed, quite an alive thing...

                        Tough loss!

                            Do it!

$100 cash = the profit from allot of shirts, without the hassles.

Its a drop in the bucket, but we have to start somewhere...

                            B/T must live on.

Something maybe a lot of people don't know about John... Besides being a racer, he runs a race shop during race week, as well as hosts the annual gathering of Thunder Mustangs at that facility...

I'm sure it's not going to be easy for him because.. though it may be broken at the moment, in that man beats the heart of a TRUE competitor.. he's tough, he'll be there...
