    Re: Blue Thunder

I bought me a shirt. It was nice to see Mr. Parker crackin' a smile off to the side there.
You'll get your chance, smart guy!

A big "THANK YOU" to all those that stopped by the American Air Race hanger and showed your support.

          Re: Blue Thunder

Im jumping in one more time

Brake (the stoping kind) performance requirements of evil-fast racing cars vs. aircraft

Just for the sake of argument, i cant understand (pls. esplain me) how or why a/c spec. brake fluid (flamable)and its correctly engineered disk systems are used on a/c's when (IMHO) evil fast cars have survived with the DOT fluids have survived for decades.

I do not believe the temps, pressures, et all parameters for a/cs is any whay grteater than big inch race car scrubbing of millions of pounds of energy at the mulsaune straights (Lemans 24 hrs)

And this was at a time before putting in a "kink" to slow down the insane 220 -230 mph speeds they had years ago.

Now i feel better..... feed back pls. so i can go to sleep!
