OK.. started this in another thread but.. gonna move it here and move it to a slightly different angle..
A quick look at:
Shows a VERY favorable weather forecast for the entire race week.. But of particular interest (as of this writing) is the temp forecasts for Mon-Tues-Wed...
Standard thought.. higher ambient temps equate to faster ground speeds due to higher density altitudes...
So..
With that thought in mind.. Watching the weather, would seem to become, just a bit more important this year than maybe in some recent years..
So Air Race "Wags".. you guys and gals have been there for years, you can smell a poor running engine from the hot dog stands!
Some of you can tell a bad cylinder from the sound it makes when they start the engine!
You're in the hot seat here..
