biplane gold heat???

RARA says Phantom and Miss Gianna both pulled up on lap 2 -- anybody see the race or know why or what happened ????

I'll be there tomorrow, but would like to hear what happened today...

Not sure about what happened to Phantom but when I walked through the biplane hanger a short while ago the crew was wrenching on it pretty hard. Not much help am I?

Miss Gianna had fouled plugs from an overrich idle mixture resulting in a rough running engine. Cris was trying to get the mixture right to clear the plugs, but when it didn't improve he made the safe choice and put it back on the ground.

My understanding of Phantom's issue is that they burned a piston.

Obviously, our issue was a lot easier to fix than Phantom's.
