I heard Mr. Martin tell more than one that he was never racing that "piece of %$^&" again. Too much money!

Interesting... I've raced with Dan for the past 5 years now, both with RRIII and the 2006 Dago Red effort, and I've never heard him say any such thing about race 4. He did mention that on the course and at race power, it was a "real sweetheart" to run around the pylons, and the faster it went, the better it flew.

I don't know who you are or where you think you heard it, but I'm here to tell you I've spent a lot more time around Dan than you have, and that comment is pure BS.

Maybe next time you'll think before you type.

Just check http://www.dagored.org for any official updates (none today though). When any info concerning this has been released and cleared by the parties involved, it will be posted.

Right now as it sits... the only thing I can say about this is "no comment".

Just checked the FAA Registry database; Dago Red - N5410V - is still registered to a Utah LLC. In other words, no change (since 1997) yet...

Talked to Kerch Monday morning and I asked him about the Dago purchase rumor and he said there was nothing to it. They're going to stick with September Fury. But, hey, Kerch is just the crew chief. Who can tell??

I am hearing today that the team has talked Mikey out of purchasing Dago Red. Too much work would need to be accomplished with the rcaer is aparently the reason for the change of heart. This propellor just keeps turning and turning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
