Maybe if you took all the different venues in aviation competition; pylon racing, Red Bull type competition, aerobatics, soaring, balloons, concours 'd elegance (Oshkosh), speed, altitude, time-to-climb, etc, etc, and awarded points for combined performance we might come up with some sort of WORLD CHAMPION of Flight. Imagine Skip Holm flying in several venues against Patty Wagstaff & the National Soaring Champion! Each competitor could gather points in 3 areas, or more...Just a Thought...D.
