I guess it's a part of the drama of Air Racing. But you just never know, someone could retire from racing, change their mind, and come back again. I believe Darryl Greenamyer "retired" a couple of times, but he'd show up again, win some more, leave again, show up in a different class, win again, etc, etc, ...In a way, Reno is kind of like a neverending action/suspense/drama movie, you just never know what's next!!! Just my spin on the whole thing.

You just never know. Remember,Button had "Hurricane" Hannah as 'Voodoo" pilot & Tiger announced a pilot for "Strega".Lots of things are said right after the races but comes August/Sept. things change. It is just the nature of the beast.
