We are in the final stages of resolving the issues with the forums move to the new location. After talking with tech support, the only solution was to send him a copy of all the images. This will take time - but we know the fix SO it's only a matter of time now.

Thanks again for your patience,

I emailed Wildfire crew today to find out the status.....and here's the email they sent back.

Yes, we will be at Reno next year.

Gear doors are remaining our albatross, but we will get them done.

In the meantime we have found the problem with the mixture being too rich in the carburetor. Turns out when our carb was sent to Florida for overhaul it was mistakingly included in a bunch of carbs being overhauled for cargo carriers. As a result, it was set up to be rich in mixture. It is being corrected at the time of this writing.

We have also solved the problem with excess oil collecting in the exhaust pipes by incorporating a drain system. This should rid us of the excessive white smoke and oil streaks along the sides of the airplane during engine run-ups.

    Thanks for inquiring about Wildfire.
