Re: Looking Down!!
You could've seen that at PRS last year, Tim Savage's "Green Dragon" was supposed to round the pylons with my dad at the controls, and a gyro-stabilized video camera was supposed to be set up in the tail, and that was how they were going to film Thunder Over Reno. But since the plane was not ready to go by PRS, that is a by-gone dream...

Re: Looking Down!!
Lest we forget...B-25J Silver Lady in 1984, 85, and 86, and B-25 Pacific Princess in 1985 and 86. They didn't make the field but it sure was kewl to watch/listen/feel them on the course in practice and qualifying. As I recall, there was a rule change to do with minimum G-load that ended bomber racing.

Re: Looking Down!!
Could you imagine the amount of wake turbulence off that. If Czech Mate was having issues with the Sea Furys, even the Sea Furys would have issues passing that. I guess the next closest thing would be a P2V, at least the engines are already there. I see Aero Union is unloading 3 of them on ebay, $75K each was the bid this morning.
