People who enjoy being around airplanes, whether at an airshow or air racing event or just hangin' out at the old county airport, sooner or later will get into taking some airplane photos for fun and enjoyment. Most everyone, no matter how amateur or serious their camera gear might be, will try their skills composing an interesting nose-angle view plane photo, or- 'nose shot'.
Thought it might be an interesting subject for users of this fan site to post some of their own favorite airplane nose shots from the air races for us all to see here. Photo compositions should be sufficiently cropped to qualify as a real 'nose shot', instead of simply being a frontal portrait of the aircraft. Photos can be of individual aircraft or groups - static or 'in-action'.
Here's a rather typical 'nose shot' composition I took of P-51D 'Mad Max' on Sat. 9/12/98 at Reno to offer an example & launch this thread-posting invitation to viewers of this message board. YO! - Bring on some good- 'NOSE SHOTS'! DBD
