      How about this way.........
Since he has 50,000 hours flight time, anyone know how many he spent in a tigercat vs all the other planes he has flown?

            Easy everyone.

I believe Bottom-Rudder posted some info that Wolfee (Moderator) felt was not useful to the thread. So Wolfee edited Bottom-Rudder's post and asked Bottom-Rudder to "put it another way".

tex-fan's question "Since he has 50,000 hours flight time, anyone know how many he spent in a tigercat vs all the other planes he has flown?" was not the post under scrutiny.

            Wolfee, is the above correct?

              That is 100% correct.

              Tex-Fan's question;
"Since he has 50,000 hours flight time, anyone know how many he spent in a tigercat vs all the other planes he has flown?"
Is very much on topic, and useful to the convo on hand.

              Wayne???

              Thank you

My question has been changed around a little in this thread. That's ok it was just not my original question. above in the quote is from page 2 of this thread. I am still wondering how many different aircraft Mr. Lacy has flown. From what I could see on the web he is probably a HIGHLY qualified pilot and could probably fly anything with wings. If anything was posted to defame Mr. Lacy it sure wasn't me. I have a friend with 20,000 hours of flight time [airport manager, sales and service etc.] and I thought that was amazing. 50,000 hours unbelievable. My hat is really off to this gentleman.
P.S. A personal note. I appreciate Wayne and this website a LOT for letting me have a place to keep up to date and informed about something I enjoy reading about, but won't ever be able to do myself, FLYING, so you guys enjoy it enough for the rest of us that get a kick out seeing pictues here and all you guys post and let us in on it a little.

Wolfee... nope! Not gonna second guess you on this one because... I saw it too and was on my delete button when my "board nazi" alarm went off..

I'm not "guarding" this part of the site NEARLY as closely as I did a year ago... a lot went on here a few months ago and it left me with pretty stung fingers..

That post was totally off and COMPLETELY needed to be edited/deleted and the fact that I let it go... well...

It was a judgment call from a guy on holiday for a few days and that we have you here to take care of it..

                  Wolfee....

                  THANK YOU!!

For being on top of it!!!!!!!!!

                  Keep up the good work!

And.. to the poster of that message.. you're on probation now!

We don't attack hero's here! We don't bash each other here.. and.. always remeber.. if someone has done enough for the aviation community, or the human race in general, to be considered a "hero"...

                  WE DON'T POST S H I T about them!

                  OK??

Thanks again Wolfee for a SUPER job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                    Tex-Fan,

Here is your orignal question, in your words. I wish I could answer it for you, but I cannot. Though I am sure a couple of the "geeks" here can.

I am sorry your question / post, got mixed up in the mess.

I gotta ask. I saw in Mr. Lacy's bio he has 50,000 flight hours! Does anybody know how many different aircraft he has flown?

                      Re: Clay Lacy - Tigercat!

I would be interested also! he seems to be everywhere, always in something different.
I recieved Boardman C. Reed's autobiography a while ago and the most fascinating part of it is a complete list of every aircraft he has ever flown, including N numbers or serial numbers.
My great uncle flew from everything from B-25's in WW2 to 747's. I'm still working on getting copies of his logs, just to find out this very information.

                        Wolfee,

This was not intended as an attack against you.
I was just wondering what the problem was with the post in question-
didnt realize you had deleted a post from Bottom Rudder, and left a quote from Tex-Fan in the header box that I thought was the original post. RG

                          Re: Clay Lacy - Tigercat!

Investigation has revealed who "bottom Rudder" is.. I mean the real person who chose to fraud their way into this site with a false name via an easily obtainable AOL account, gain whatever personal/professional benefit they could, while creating whatever strife here they could while here....

I don't think anyone should pay much attention to what this person wrote. Clearly, all of it was for his own benefit... Again, I'll not reveal who thei perperatrator is but, it's fairly obvious to those who know whom he is, why it was done.

Some legal lines were crossed in all this fradualent activity and those of us who make their living analyzing this sort of thing are currently active in research of just how far those lines were crossed and, because of professional affiliations of the corssers, just how nefearious those crossings were...

As we used to say. "As the Propeller turns"..

                          Such drama!

Magazines may have to be rerwitten..

                          Retractions printed...

It all could degenerate into an Legal Eagl v Legal Egal thing...

                          SAD....

                          Reality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
