Hey AvNut, is that last picture a Vought Cutlass? I've never seen the back end of one, but it looks like it. A test pilot once wrote that General Electric made toasters that put out more heat than those engines. I guess that airplane didn't do too well. Nice pics to all.
You got it .. a Vought F7U-3 Cutlass ... it's at the Naval Air Museum in Pensacola. Quite a unique design.
I can't say enough about the Naval Air Museum ... one of the best ... I visited it last year.
I Don't quite get the "Need A Screw" - It looks like its down the turkey feathers of an F-15, is that in reference to FOD? Other than the obvious, it would need to juxtapose against another reference to be funny, does anyone know? Great pics of the jet jobs, love the Grim Reaper and the B&W B-17 is going on my screensaver for awhile!!

"Need a screw" is a California ANG F-16. They are usually always nice to write something on the inside.
