Ewe guys keep it up with all this history stuff and one of these days, I'm going to have to dust off my old boxes of Hi8 tapes and transfer them to digital!

I'm trying to remember exactly the years but around '92 and four years previous, I had a pretty nice (for the time) camcorder and spent my time at RENO doing the "unpaid cameraman" thing... I have several gold final races taped from start to finish from the reserved seats... tours through the pits, etc, etc..

I do not have a dedicated Hi8 player, however, so I'm at the mercy of my "newer" (now several years old) digital 8 camcorder that I bought to fullfill my promise to the Rare Bear team that I could capture some video in april '03 and subsequently found that my "high end" Canon camcorder failed and bought as a replacement..

I promise to get to it someday!!

Actually, most of it, I've never even seen! I'd tape it and then put it away and forget about it!
