Last year I looked for forum members to party with, didnt find any. I did meet Leo in the pits, what a great guy btw. He has forgotten more about air racing than I will ever know.
So this year we have to do something, maybe not a full blown party, but a casual bbq with cold beer and a few people?

I'll be there sat and sun... Let me know.

This year I will be there from monday thru sunday evening

This year I will pull my pipe rack so I can get my bbq/smoker in my truck, lol. last year I didnt bring one. I will make up some pork ribs and maybe a brisket

As it stands, assuming the economy get's just a LITTLE better before September, I will be there every day from the Sat. before thru race week. As of now I have it allotted off.
We say it every year but it would be cool to get a few of the people here together for a few cold ones.

I think the friday before the finals would be best, that way everyone is recovered before sunday Some BBQ, some cold ones and lots of BS
You know we are going to get to see an F22 Raptor and the thunderbirds, think they will be practicing thursday and friday? Think the F22 will fly the course? HELL YEAH HE/SHE WILL

The NAG Shack, in the Pits, has a message board you guys can use to leave mesages for one another. I may put up a second one behind the General Admission Grandstands, if that is where RARA puts our Information Booth, like they did last year. We also post the pairings and results there.

Hell, I'm already getting excited about the PRS in June. I'm having my right hip replaced about 3 weeks prior, so I plan on having a lawn chair, cameras, big sammich, and some cold drinks in the pits for that.

I'm the guy who camps out at the church with the old BMW Airhead twin. Cripes, we've probably met before, but my memory just ain't what it used to be.

I would bet a lot of us have met and don't realize it!
I camped for 25 years in the same spot (X-10) in the Sorptimists lot. Met a LOT of people over the years.
Looking forward to June, two days (for me) of racers. You start to get the DT's about now...

Sat the 21, and Sun, 22 tho that is not a scheduled PRS day. I'm trying to get there Friday afternoon but who knows. You can always give me a call when your here, I'm just down the street.
