Re: New Mustang race motor
I am 238 lbs but I have been 256 also...and 164 lbs when 18 years of age. I am 6 ft 3 in tall.
Last time I saw a Mustang was 10 years ago...but I bet 99% here never saw one. I know one person here who has flown a Mustang !Last edited by First time Juke; 04-17-2008, 06:41 AM.

I think I got that right??
We have had only a Gloster Gauntlet in flying condition..none of the Hurricanes, Fokker XXI:s, P-36:s, Brewsters, Morane Saulniers nor Fiat G-50:s remained in flying condition that were sold to Finland prior or during Winter War...also Gloster Gladitors and Bulldogs scored but none survived...a large number of Bristol Blenheims were also built here.
Later in Continuation war Adolf H and his regime supplied FiAF with Me 109:s and Ju 88:s and some obsolete Do-17s. None of them survived except few 109:s in a museum..last engine run was done in 1978.
An air racing event was also held with the racers..in 1949 in Utti AFB. The sole air racing event in Finland so far.
2 pics in the middle are from the engine testrun.
I also added the rarity..sole finnish "Mustang"..used in local broadcasting company for a movie..non flying wreck today.Last edited by First time Juke; 04-18-2008, 11:57 PM.
