UTVA 66
Hi guys I have a friend that has asked me about a plane his brother inlaw is thinking about buying. It is a UTVA 66 STOL. I don't know anything about them so I thought I would ask you guys if anybody know of this type of plane. He said he thinks it's a yugoslav mfg. So was the Yugo and that wasn't very impressive. thank for the input guys .

chances are it doesn't have U.S. certification, and will fall into the experimental category, so he must take into consideration his long term plans for this plane or he may find some limitations.Last edited by David Krull; 05-02-2008, 05:20 PM.Comment

the gso-480 is kind of an orphan engine. It could be rather hard to find parts for that motor. also.bob burns
