That day is finally here...after a long winter...racers are finally returning to Reno!!!

Lady luck smiled upon me today, and I got a chance to swing by Stead Airfield today while working.

It is indeed getting there,

The NXT and friend surprised me, I was on my way back to the truck when I heard them coming, and by the time I got the camera up, they were already going by.

I wont actually be out there for a full day till Friday. That was the only day off this week I could waggle.

I plan on heading out Wed, Thurs, and Friday, (Saturday is the NHL draft, my other passion) and can not wait. Was out shooting today with my brother and everytime we heard a plane fly overhead we both thought the same thing, it is time.

By the time I got a few pictures in, the boss was wondering if I went to my next stop via Elko...lol So nope...me no check out the computer...I'll make that a priority next visit. I hope it's working at least a little...Dave should be here tonight if he's not already. I'll grovel to get some freight out that way again tomorrow.
