From what I saw they were playing follow the leader with Stu today and flew slow and steady around the course. So slow that Dago lapped them twice in four laps.

Was great to hear the motors running though. Dago sounds mean!!

I talked to the Dago crew yesterday, and they told me that the motor in the plane right now is a stocker. Did sound good, though!

Hehe, please DO and I'll settle up with him in September! Besides, something tells me he already knows the truth. The Witch owns the Snake anyday.

I ventured out after all was quiet tonight...and after standing in silence next to some of the greatest aircraft to ever take to the skies and forever change the world that we live in, I took a few pictures.

Nice. Stead's ramp feels like the Holy Land when the racers are present at dusk.

Amen to that. For the last several years I've wandered down into the pits after Saturday's events are done, and it's really a beautiful sight to see.

                  Nice shots, MM!!

Something I haven't seen here yet...the young Stevo did get his ticket to race, and he will be on the course today for both sessions.

The hotel clerk who checked us in on Wednesday had a HORRIBLE cold/laryngitis/strep... WHATEVER.. could hardly talk.. So, I'm feelin it and hanging around here at the room for a while after shivering and then sweating all night.. That info out of the way (to explain why I'm at my puter and not out at STEAD!)

Yes... he did get his ticket signed, Irv Hare has photos... I'm going to do my best to talk him into sharing..

Don't know about flight sched today... Hoping to feel well enough to head out around noon..
