Thanks for sharing your beautiful pictures, I was able to get under the pylons finally after attending the races for many years. first time was 1970. I like many others can't hardly stand the year long wait. Thanks, KC

Ronnie Gardner was the pilot. The airplane now belongs to the Cavanaugh Flight Museum.

I'm about to head out for an evening on the town with the Rare Bear crew but I'm digging out one of I'm sure, will be many (from me and others)

You looked good out there.. equally so in the hangar last night! (my lady, Beer Nazi, was the blonde who took a shot of you with a little camera early on in the evening)

There is a lot of work going on in the bear cave. I saw a big four bladed prop arriving on site as I was leaving Friday afternoon as well.
