Cool shots guys, thanks for sharing! I love the propping shots that show NOTHING in the background, no houses, no buildings, no sign of civilization of any kind. Man I miss those days.............

I have a slide shot of Ray in a clown suit, standing by the plane. This was shot by a friend sometime before 1985.

Ya, the good old days when the only things back there were us fans!

I think if you stood and looked out across the valley at that angle you would still see very little. Red Rock is off to the left more... just being annoyingly nit-picky. Your right of course, in those days all you saw in all directions was mostly desert! It's funny to compare pics posted here from the 70's and early 80's then look at it now. I'm all for growth and development (without it I wouldn't have a job, hence right now I barely do!) but it's sad to see where it happens sometimes.
I'll add tho, if you havn't been out to some of those houses on the hillside, the views of the mountains and valley are spectacular and it's obvious why it developed.
