I see lots of IF1's at PRS (not just this years) without wheel pants. To me it just makes them look incomplete. I assume it must be a PITA to install them for the short duration of PRS, and the fact they are not looking for the last n'th of performance.Red

The runway at Stead is pretty rough, many take the wheel pants off for PRS to prevent damage. We had one aircraft lose a wheel pant this year (#3 Sly Dog) and another lose a tailwheel.F1 Race 98 & 99Comment
