I know that the CAF had lots of mechanical problems with the airplane over the years, so perhaps this may be why it didn't stray too far from Texas. I only saw it at the Airsho gathering at Harlingen each year in the late 70's and early 80's. It might have gone to other shows, but I just don't remember seeing it outside the home turf.
As an aside, I still have a picture of myself and Gary Levitz, from the first time I met him back in the late 70's at one of the Airsho's. I also have a picture from when he let me sit in the cockpit of the Twin and make all kinds of cool airplane noises! A rare experience for sure!
