I'll bring a 6 foot plastic table if I can make it (as previously mentioned, it's up to the wife)
BTW: Can you recap everything?
Price? $5 a person? More/Less?
Time? Races over at 5-ish, so about 6-ish?
Where? North, South, East, West side of the church
What? Potluck dinner but what is needed? Salads? Chips? Dips? Vegetables? Tables? Plasticware/plates? Soft/Hard drinks etc

We have some chips coming, I think we need plates n stuff still. Salad would be great. We have condiments covered I think. How bout fruit, apples, oranges...ect. Price.. Yes $5 ish sould be cool. This is going to be a blast.
Re: Bluffman-Lockheed Bob to RENO - Fundraiser donations/Raffle
Sure wouln be way cool to get a piece of racing history, like an old wasted piston or valve etc. I know I would buy lots of tickets for a chance to win that.
I am so excited. Its going to be a great year.

I have a Merlin piston out of the Late John Crocker's Race 6 "Sumthin Else" We blew the engine up in the Reno Gold final in 1985. It's pretty wasted and still has the top of the connecting rod attached.
I'm willing to donate it for the auction if you like.

Hey Wayne... that'd be cool! I'm going to see what I can scrounge up at the Bear Cave... (no promises) once I get down on the 5th... I'll also be bringing some prints.. And I'll dig around and see what else I have that is little cared for in my archives..
Sure hope the campground can handle the crowd!!
This thing started out as a "little" gathering... cheesh...!

I like the idea of keeping it a level playing field, so lets keep it as a raffle.
Thanks very much everyone!

Is it an Allison rod ?
NO, It's a Merlin rod. If it was an Allison rod, it wouldn't have failed!
Someone will have to come by and pick it up at our pit. I will not be able to be at the party for the raffle. PM me and we'll set it up for the pick up.
Could use a couple of volunteers to help out with selling the raffle tickets. Bob will be on the BBQ, might need a helper as well. Please let me know if you are so inclined to assist.
