I love all the racer Mustangs, I just don't see them holding together through Sunday. Tiger will break his on Saturday -- 'cause he's Tiger, Dago isn't fully (re-)developed yet, and Voodoo, well, they might get 4th or 5th, if they stroke it and save it till Sunday. For competitions sake, I'd love to be proven wrong. Heck, RB vs. SF will be one heck of a heavyweight bout.

I am a round-engine fan first.
A big SF fan to be specific.

What STRIKES GREAT FEAR in my chest is watching DR or Strega circling high the first few laps of Sunday afternoon.... then that sinking feeling in my stomach as the nose drops as the final sprint begins to try and finish off the lumbering beasts out front...

That sight is permanently burned into my mind.. stunning!

Yep, Tiger can really move out when he puts the whip to Strega, but as with last year, how long can the motor handle it? Give Dago a year of development, and if Voodoo goes back to the race canopy and Galloping Ghost shows, and with any of her potential, the next few years will be magic!

It also sounds like the strega boys have been working with Nixon on a motor even more intensly than last year, I hope that means they can keep that thing together

I wouldn't be so sure that we've ever seen the top speed of DG's Legacy #33. I expect the top of the Sport Class to be very competitive this year.

I don't think so either. Had they knew they cut the pylon in 06, I'm sure things would have been different. First place sets the pace.

we've never seen 33 at full power just enough power to win but they have a new engine this year again hopefully they'll get all the bug's worked out before sunday

the nxt's are a fast airframe and thats what chia's customers want so thats what he builds but if you want to see a fast nxt wait till chia get one of his race engines in one i dont think the the Lycomings are putting out anywhere near the power of the continentals
