Bear looks great. So does czech... I know we are all about the unlimiteds but whats the buzz with the sport class. With the up in displacement did anyone jump on board for a new engine?

And are there details about Erica's crash? I just heard my prayers go out to her family. I hope that is the only tragedy we experience this air race season

Hey Inverted, Great shot of Da Bear! BTW, when we fly models inverted when my old friend Ltc. Harry Roe, Jr., USAF/AAF, P-51s from Duxford is there, he says, "Hey he's flying 'perverted'"!

Well, Race 33 finally has a "real" GTSIO-520 in it. Should be interesting since the power section can wind up and make more power while keeping the prop tips out of the transonic regime -- a la Rare Bear and Sptember Fury. Will he make 400 mph? Will the NXTs?

So did somebody say they put a real live GTSIO in there (from 421 fame?) for this year?

If so that is actually a pretty nice motor.
Makes 375 right out of the box for something like 1200 hours or so?
Can probably double that or more if you just need it for the weekend.
