Airrace.org has no speeds for NXT, relentless, nor Race 33..
Don't know anything about about the bear... Im not leaving for Reno until the morning,
Someone On another Fourm Board said Bear ran this morning then saw her back at the Hanger with the Prop Off BUT AGAIN THIS IS JUST WHAT SOMEONE ELSE HAS SAID I HAVE NO PROVE AND LIKE I SAID I AM NOT THERE!!
Bear has not flown, were waiting on a Prop Governor from Burbank according to another thread. It ran this morning arouind 10:30 then went back in and prop came off again.
Relentless nor Nemesis took times the 1st Sport Qual session. Another one to go this afternoon.
Von Grote (#33) went up, had a blistering run, but cut a pylon so no time. Hand times had it easily over 400. Who knows how big of a cut it was but...
So #33 does have over 800 HP?? Or are they just turning
less HP. into Noise instead of Thrust.
HMmmmmm.
But will it stay together all week? (GTSIO-520)?
There is a lot of "last minute" type work being done I'm sure for no other reason than that N777L wintered at Stead. If Rod can bring her home to Texas this off-season it will be much easier to get steady scheduled work on it I'd think. Just my .02 cents.
Being a V-12 guy at heart I'm not the Bear's biggest fan but I still want them very much in the fight. I'd love to see #77 qualify right in the middle of that amazing (first time?) 1.351 mph gaggle that the top three are already at, and for the four of them to kind of stay that tight with each other all weekend with no breakage.
