We all should know when you first wake up a bear after it's been hibernating in it's cave its going to be grumpy and temperamental for a bit. Once it wakes up though.....

The Bear was not ready to fly, ground run only. If it goes well, they will button it up and get ready qualify. The goal is to qualify in the top five today. Then fine tune till Thursday.Originally posted by Red

Unlimiteds are launching now with 1 hour to go (they have til 12:15).
Sawbones, Rebel, Lady Jo also out on the ramp.

Bear is in the AIR!!!! Circling high above Stead, not on the course as of yet. Just the Bear and the safety plane, everyone else has finished. The drama, the drama!
