Posts made past 02:30PM 12/30/24 won't be on the new site!

We are in the final stages of resolving the issues with the forums move to the new location. After talking with tech support, the only solution was to send him a copy of all the images. This will take time - but we know the fix SO it's only a matter of time now.

    (like we want to hear more from/about him)

    has very little knowledge of air racing/the planes/the people


    .....I did congratulated them for doing the webcast thing.

    it took 4 people @ RARA to finally get an mature gal who was kind enough ask me to please wait so she could write the info and basic content of our conversation
    THANK YOU GIRL!

    .......if some of you liked the announcer as much (or not) as I do
    telephone calls or write them (check airrace.org for addy)

    they tell me they read them/discuss them.....

          Was anyone else frustrated listening to the gold race yesterday? The announcers didn't even tell us who won until about 2 minutes after the race ended. On the last lap, they just gave us a bunch of "ahhhs" and "oh, look at that!" and "how bout this?!" Obviously, if we could SEE what was happening, it might make sense, but if they're trying to paint a picture, they forgot to bring the brushes...

          Still happy for the streaming, though. I just wish someone would tell them to give us more detail...like who's ahead at the finish?

              I realize now that their mics are voice activated! No wonder I can only hear the announcers and the music.. Oh well, what should I expect for nothing! Still the next best thing to being there!

                  WOW.. Thanks RARA!!! We love you. I am sitting in Texas just green with envy cause I couldn't make it this year and yall are making it bearable(no pun intended). Yall get a big atta boy from me!!

                      I feel the need to balance my posts here.

                      I like the fact that they have done a webcast.
                      (concerns/complaints listed in prior posts)

                      I thank all at RARA who made this happen,
                      it is very nice to scratch our itch when we can't be there.
