Glad I got to see history today

Even though Steven Hinton was lapped it was a great treat to see dad and son in the air together.

You gotta wonder if dad had one of his eyes on Steven the whole race as he circled above.

He did well and came back down safely.

Also was a little nervous when Voodoo called a mayday and requested rescue crews. He made it down safely thank god!

Anyone know what happened to Voodoo?

Yeah, no doubt. I know the feeling, just not on the same scale. I just lunched a couple valves on my street car that I was prepping to race (and I knew better to not do what I did, but did it anyway.) Time for a new cylinder head. So now I'm using the race car (still street legal but gets hassled by 5-0) for the daily driver, and racing on worn out tires. (Really scary, but gotta show to keep my points position.)

My hats off to the Voodoo guys, seems like they don't have any good voodoo going for them. I cringe at the cost of rebuilding one let alone 2 Merlins. That's just horrid luck.
