Congratulations to all winners of 2008 Reno Air Races !
Many thanks to all partisipants too who together make event like this possible. My greetings to all organizers too..very well done and no tragedy tells that also "higher powers" were with you.
However as being the "official foreign propellerhead" who seeks constantly new ways to look at the aviation and also air racing I came up with this pic ( possibly been here already ), but see the clean lines of XF-12. Is a twin possible with similar appearance..that could utilize two large radials that are available I suppose.
Four engine AC with 470+ speed and a propeller driven piston plane. Think of it with adi and nitrous ?...550+ mph ?
Or could the Tigercat with large hubs do the same ?
