    Semi OT: Palin mentions Air Races in Reno

    Apparently she was in town last weekend, and she mentions NCAR at 5:20 in this audio:

    Washoe County, Nev., is a swing county in a swing state, one that both parties see as pivotal to winning Nevada. Traditionally a Republican county, over the past year Democrats have made significant inroads there. But the McCain campaign has built strong ground operations as well.

          On Saturday 14th, I called the Republican offices in Carson City, advising them that the Reno Air Races would be a great opportunity for Sarah to pop out of the hatch on top of the Alaska ANG C-130. Not sure the message was delivered. Would have been a great opportunity for her. Warning: To get to here her mention of the Air Races, one has to listen to a whole lot of NPR __________. If you like that sort of thing, it's OK....but.....
