Dan Vance was the happy guy doing all the run-ups during race week. It's the first time he's been in the HOT seat and he had a smile from ear to ear. On one of the nights while waiting for it to get darker he said he would love to jump in take off and buzz the ramp. As far as I know Mike Brown and Dennis Sanders are the only people to fly Fury in her current state and Dan would love to be next.

Thanks Jason, your video is awesome. To be there, the plane starts shaking, the ground starts shaking, the air starts shaking, your body starts shaking, and everything gets to shake together for a few moments until they pull the power back and shut it down. Something about checking something from what I hear. Also heard that the run up is nowhere near race power setting. Whew!!!

Thanks for props on the video. The only down side to filming close up shots was that my filter (in this case protector) got destroyed by rocks and debris from the hurricane force winds.

Yep, we were checking coils on all the night runs, and as you can see not all of them were happy.
