Anyone have any news on what is going to happen to the Sea Fury that crashed at Stead before the races.

just a guess, but i'm sure it will be trucked to either ione or to breckenridge for rebuild.

..an insurance issue at this time. I'm sure it will be rebuilt but it will be a while.

Poor thing. It looks like it suffered some major damage.

Anyone care to guess how much it will cost and how long it will take to repair?

What caused the accident other than the impact with the ground?

engine failed, you can't change the laws of distance,speed, and altitude.
ronnie did a great job with what he had to work with.

Does owners insurance cover things like this? I am pretty sure it doesnt cover the engine loss but the damage from the resulting forced landing, is that covered?
